...like a Funkcamp Party, cuz a Funkcamp party don't stop! Huh!
I made the trip to NYC this weekend for Queen Jeffrey's 29th birthday party. The theme of the party was the Night of 1000 Madonnas, a party theme that QJ has apparently been pushing for for years. QJ was the Evita Madonna and he arrived at the party in a limo, completely unaware of what was waiting for him...only to find paparazzi taking photos as he exited the limo and people chanting Evita! Evita! Evita! as he entered the bar.
Quite simply, the party was amazing. (More details later, as time allows)
Beyond the party itself, it was really fulfilling just to be back in NYC and to reconnect with Funkcamp. The last time I saw everyone was Stonecamp and I was a little out of sorts that weekend, having become single the previous week... This was everything I needed and more, with great conversations, fun partying, and just general battery recharging. I kinda wish I could've stayed longer, but I'll be heading back in a couple of weeks for NYE, so....soon enough. Woot!

heh. Well, I'll just be partying with Funkcamp...as per the usual. Should be nice but the real reason for going up is to hit Ian's annual New Year's Day hash in Katonah. I assume you're flying to NYC today? Or do you drive there?
